(1 Kings 1:28, 29)

28 Then king David answered and said, Call me Bathsheba.

 And she came into the kings presence, and stood before

 the king. 29 And the king sware, and said, As the Lord

 liveth, that hath redeemed my soul out of all distress,

Again, we see that God heals emotions. David, if you remember sin with Bathsheba and because of that sin and the sin of murdering her husband David paid an enormous price and went through a very difficult season in his life. This season of judgment put a lot of distress on David, but David said God has delivered him out of all the distress, speaking of the emotions. Every time we go through a terrible season in our lives we could be faced with such sorrow and pain that we allow distress to slip into our minds and maybe even depressing. Such tragedies happen all the time to God’s people. It might be the lost of a love one or some terrible illness invades our lives. It happens to the world to, but when it happens to a believer the believer has the Holy Spirit to comfort us, we have the word of God to give us hope for tomorrow. In the world there are so many suicides because they feel there is no hope for tomorrow. Thank God for His word that brings hope in the middle of tragedies. But when we as a believer are faced with such pain and the pain brings us to a place of distress we can have hope that Jesus heals even our emotions. If you your self are facing such distress just remember it is only a season in your life. This season in your life is only temporary; for the word of God promises deliverance over distresses. If you are facing distress or you know someone that’s facing distress, study for yourself and tell that person to study the judgment of David or the price that Job paid and see that God delivered them from all their distresses and blessed them with double. Double joy, double peace, double everything containing to their life; that’s the word of God! Never give up, Jesus loves you and your miracle is on the way!
